Sheep and sheep shit everyhwere...
Slightly hung over, we took a ferry from Vlieland to Harlingen and headed off along the mainland again. The wind turned in our favour and for the first time, we enjoyed some really easy riding. There were sheep absolutely everwhere and sometimes we had to slalom around them or shoo them away.
Not only is Marly our best navigator, she has also discovered the fine art of short cuts. She quickly found some direct routes along the dam that considerably shortened our journey to the sleepy village of Moddergat.
The evening's entertainment consisted of a pub dinner, some more local schnaps and cleaning the sheep shit of shoes, pedals and trousers.
We even had some sun though...
Today'S run: 61 km (thanks to Marly)
Total so far: 272 km
